Simply A Photo...

Sometimes you get lucky by having one photograph turn out in such a way that it tells a story all its' own. This is one of those "lucky" photo times.

Awe, the secrets of sisterhood. Need we say more... ?!?!

Baseball, T-Ball, Baseball... Oh My!

Kansas City for baseball tournament play last weekend... wood bat baseball tournament here this weekend... and then state/multi-state baseball tournament next weekend. Guess there's at least some consistency in the way we spend our weekends this June!

It has been a crazy summer so far, but at least we are all managing to have some fun along the way :-)

Our baby bunnies are growing and moving about...
but continue to love our yard.

Dalton has found a new love... First Base!

Emmalie concentrates so hard at T-Ball...
but we still don't know how that facial expression helps her!!!

Made a mistake saying I had to pack the
"most important things" for my business trip.
Bethanie hid in the bag to make sure I had room for her!

Cave Woman Bethanie
(this is her "after the ball field" look)

After three nights straight of ball games (the last two of which didn't end until midnight), we have nothing but family time tonight... YEAH! Bet everyone is in bed by 9:00 pm though!

Happy Thursday all... :-)

Emmalie and Bethanie refer to the weekends as their "stay at home" days. They count down the week just waiting for these great, relaxing days to come. First thing Saturday morning, Emmalie reminded us that (in her own words)... "Today is a stay at home day, and stay at home days are for adventure and fun!" (Guess she has been paying attention to the value of a weekend... LOL!).

With Dad recovering well from his shoulder surgery, this weekend was full of family focused fun! It stared with a baby shower and enjoyable time at the pool on a rather hot Saturday... followed by bowling. And Sunday was left open for local festivities. We haven't been to a good old fashioned River Festival all together in a couple of years. So this time, we extended the family by treating Dad Rupp, Kamie and our nephew Kalix to the festivities. It was way too hot to be out for very long... but the kids all had a blast!

The kids posed for pictures by the miniature golf course...

Then enjoyed themselves playing in the Kids Corner and getting their faces painted...

All the while managing to share many laughs along the way...!

What a great way to spend a summer weekend :)
