Emmalie's First Dance

Emmalie participated in her first "dance clinic" on Friday. It was a blast watching her get ready. The girl was soooooo excited! She got to eat pizza with the high school dance team and was one of the few Kindergartners who took part... meaning she was in the K-2nd breakdown of dancers. Em was most excited about being able to perform at the HIGH SCHOOL, which they did during half-time of the girls' Varsity basketball game. Here is a highlight of our little Dancing Queen :)

Toothless...

Emmalie has finally lost her first tooth. All of her friends have been sporting the trendy new "Toothless" look for the past two months... so, needless to say, the girl has been eagerly awaiting her opportunity to join the "in crowd" by losing one of her baby teeth. She is definitely growing up. And it won't be long before the second tooth comes out, too. Making her adorable toothless gap even bigger... :)

So we captured Miss Emmalie making the darndest face tonight. Tony laughingly says it reminds him of the Jeff Duhnam puppet guy Walter... UGH! Now we need some help putting a caption to the picture because Em would like this added to her personal photo scrapbook. (Gotta love her free spirit and sense of humor :) at this age).
